We all knew that it would not take long for Conor McGregor to voice his opinion on Floyd Mayweather's approval to take on upcoming kickboxing expert Tenshin Nasukawa on RIZIN 14 in his official MMA debut. The Notorious went on his Instagram account this morning to meet Mayweather and his Japanese opponent without mentioning their ethnicities. Look at the post above.
Containing Conor McGregor's jokes for anyone Floyd Mayweather & Tenshin Nasukawa
It can not be denied that Conor McGregor has the personality to decorate the main stage either as a protagonist or as a heel in the field of mixed martial arts. He has quickly become one of the most admired figures in martial arts, not only for his performance in the ring, but also outside the octagon.
In August 2017, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor were in the boxing ring, where Mayweather McGregor broke up, tiring him and winning in the tenth round of TKO. The fight itself was not so intoxicating overall, but the action boom not only attracted fans and MMA fans, but also occasional fans of martial arts.
Mayweather and McGregor ran a show with several public press conferences where both parties had the opportunity to clown each other. Here McGregors is now notorious "Who is the guy?" Question became an international sensation and memes.
McGregor has since continued this charade to publicly humiliate his opposition before entering the ring. However, McGregor's last opponent in Khabib Nurmagomedov did not lightly accept Conor's jokes about his religion, family and country. McGregor was humiliated by his opponent in Khabib after being brutally beaten and forced to submit to UFC 229's fourth round of action.
Despite the defeat at UFC 229, McGregor believed that he could have the opportunity to fight his former enemy in Floyd Mayweather in his MMA debut. Unfortunately, things have not gone according to plan, and Mayweather has recently signed a deal to fight unbeaten 20-year-old Tenshin Nasukawa (4-0) in Japan's RIZIN award-winning organization this coming New Year's Eve.
Disappointed with Conor that he will not soon fight Floyd for yet another big payday, he used the social media to talk about his contempt for Mayweather, to face Nasukawa in the ring with a caption
"Is this a tracksuit or a sauna suit, Floyd? Haha wtf. is it hot in Tokyo or what is the story here? that climate change is not a joke, fuck me hahah
What the hell is going on here? Who is this little guy next to you? That's crazy. Just outside the rush hour 5 or so. Chris Tucker and Jackie fuck Chan in this slut. Fuck brilliantly. Crazy little bastard, you're Floyd. Fair fucks you buddy. No lie. Fuck it all. "
Okay, if you know McGregor for his offbeat personality, that does not sound as bad as it reads. But some might argue that the racial terms that refer to Japanese-born Nasukawa as "Jackie Chan," the Chinese action movie star, are insensitive and needless to say. Not to mention the Japanese and Afro-American duo of Mayweather and Nasukawa "Just outside of Rush Hour 5" a direct indication of their ethnicity of the two combatants as a direct racially motivated insult.
Even in a defeat, Conor McGregor continues to run his mouth, all for fun and, of course, out of pure competition. But will he ever learn his lesson to leave the ethnic backgrounds of other fighters in his public ranks? Obviously The Notorious did not learn his lesson after Khabib hit him.
After Floyd Mayweather's MMA debut on December 31, 2018 on RIZIN 14 in Tokyo, Japan's Saitama Super Arena, Floyd Mayweather challenges Tenshin Nasukawa.
