Cooptalis, a company specializing in international recruitment and professional mobility, has raised 80 million euros from Naxicap Partners and Eurazeo, its historical partner. Naxicap Partners now holds half of the capital.

After two years of health crisis synonymous with border closures, Cooptalis has been rebounding since September and has seen its activity explode. To cope with this growth, the company specializing in international mobility has just lever 80 millions d’euros with Naxicap Partners and Eurazeo, its historic partner. The first brought 50 million and now holds half the capital.

Until the appearance of Covid-19, the company, located in Marcq-en-Baroeul, near Lille, doubled its turnover every year. The pandemic reduced its growth to 20% between the end of 2019 and the end of 2021, which had forced it to a PSE eliminating 70 jobs in November 2020. But since the reopening of the borders, its activity has started up again. The company plans to increase its turnover from 50 to 100 million euros between 2021 and 2022 and to 400 million in 2024. The workforce should increase from 750 employees to a thousand at the end of 2022.

With 23 agencies in 16 countries, the company, renamed Alone thanks to this new funding round, has a unique profile according to its founding president Olivier Desurmont. Specialist in expatriation, she hunts and recruits profiles in France and abroad for French or foreign companies. “For example, we have just recruited Chinese for a Moroccan company”, illustrates Olivier Desurmont, specifying that “the labor shortage is global”.

But the company adds to this the full support of employees in their professional mobility procedures – immigration, relocation and taxation – and finally a training activity. No other company combines these three activities, believes Anywr. Since its creation in 2012, with this global approach, it has already helped 30,000 people in their mobility (in one or other of its activities) and supported 4,000 companies.

Seven acquisitions in three years

This will allow the northern company to recruit in all its businesses, to accelerate new digital projects internally and finally to continue its internationalization. She has already made seven external growths in three years, including three this year: Antares in Spain, Geneva Relocation in Switzerland and Expat Partners, present in India and China. “Rather than establishing ourselves in a country, we are buying a structure there, which allows us to develop more quickly,” comments Olivier Desurmont.
