A corona hotspot has been discovered in Graubünden. A group of young men partying in Serbia’s capital, Belgrade, returned home with the virus.
The first of the group of six young men fell ill three days after returning from abroad. He had been tested by a doctor. The canton’s contact tracing group then intervened. The six party goers have been isolated since then.
All persons who had contact with the young men after their return from abroad were placed in quarantine. A total of 73 people are currently in quarantine in the canton of Graubünden, most of them because of the Belgrade case.

That simply does not work
The party-goers went abroad the weekend before last, got infected there and then came back to Switzerland, the cantonal doctor Marina Jamnicki told the television of Italian-speaking Switzerland RSI on Monday. The reason for the infections is the party life itself.
It doesn’t matter where parties take place. If a person is sick, there is simply the risk of infection. Jamnicki appeals to personal responsibility: the whole night partying shoulder to shoulder, it just doesn’t work.
According to the cantonal doctor, there is a need for action in Graubünden. The management structures established in the spring due to the corona pandemic have been partially reactivated.
