On Monday, June 6th, two people in Azerbaijan were proven to be infected with the novel corona virus.
Another corona patient has recovered from the infection, as the operational staff reported to the Cabinet of Ministers. No death was recorded in the past day.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, a total of 9,713 people have died in Azerbaijan as a result of the virus.
Azerbaijan currently has 792,810 infections. So far, 783,042 people have been discharged home from the hospitals as cured. Azerbaijan is currently treating 55 active corona patients.
So far, 6,909,386 corona tests have been carried out nationwide. On June 6, 1,833 more people were tested for the virus, the report said.
