Corona incidence values of the counties and urban districts

Die seven-day incidence indicates the number of newly infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days. The numbers of new infections shown in the following table are based on data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and were transmitted to the RKI the day before the specified date.

Country says goodbye to warning levels concept

For a long time, the former leading indicator of hospitalization and the indicator of intensive care beds played an important role in the warning level concept of the Lower Saxony state government. Since the Corona Ordinance of February 24th, these values are no longer decisive as warning level indicators. Nevertheless, they remain meaningful and therefore they will continue to be published by the state government. In addition, it cannot be ruled out that they will regain importance in the event of another sharp increase in the assessment of the corona situation.
