Continued mobile offers in the municipalities of the Main-Taunus district

In November, the Varisano clinics in the Main-Taunus district will again be offering corona vaccinations in the municipalities. As district councilor Johannes Baron reports, the vaccination center in Hattersheim is also available. In addition, the health department recommends the seasonal flu vaccination, which is only offered in doctor’s offices.

According to Baron, there are first, second and third vaccinations for people from twelve years of age with the vaccine Comirnaty (BioNTech), as well as second boosters.

You should bring an identity document and, in the case of second and third vaccinations, proof of previous vaccinations. Anyone who would like to be vaccinated can speed up the process if they already have the completed anamnesis and consent form with them (can be downloaded from the Internet on the Robert Koch Institute website at https://www.rki.de/DE/Content/Infekt /Vaccinate/Materials/COVID-19-Information Sheet-Tab.html).

A legal guardian must be present for persons under the age of 16. FFP2 masks must be worn at the vaccination points.

In general, the STIKO recommends an initial booster vaccination for everyone aged twelve and over. The STIKO recommends a second booster vaccination for children from the age of five who have an increased risk of a severe course of infection, for people with an immune deficiency, as well as for all people over the age of 60 and for employees in medical and nursing facilities who have direct contact with groups at risk . The vaccination interval to the previous vaccination or to an illness should be more than six months. A second booster is only recommended after three months for people with an immune deficiency.
