Coronavirus August 11 covid-19 cases and deaths in Colombia – Health


The Ministry of Health confirmed this Tuesday 321 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia. With this update, the number of deaths in the country rises to 13,475.

The health authority also reports 12,830 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 40,101 tests were processed throughout the country.

This Tuesday the country reached 410,453 total infections throughout the national territory, including 12,830 new cases of patients with the virus.

To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 141,994 confirmed infections.

The report It also indicates that 230,427 people have recovered from the disease and to date there are 165,698 active cases.

In this day of record of infections, by cities, Bogotá registered 4,955 cases; then Barranquilla was located, with 282 and Santa Marta, with 196. Below was Cartagena, with 175.

By department, Antioquia reported 1,748 cases, followed by Valle del Cauca, with 808; Córdoba, with 799, Santander, with 720 and Cundinamarca, with 513. In the last place was San Andrés, with four cases.

With a total of 40,101 tests processed, the health authorities identified that there are 1,061 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia (Ituango), Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, North of Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.

The Ministry announced that in the world there are 20.07 million confirmed cases, and 736,372 deaths. In addition, the total recovered exceeds 12.3 million.
