Coronavirus: cases, deaths and vaccinated against covid-19 in Colombia – Other Cities – Colombia

According to the report of the Ministry of Health this Wednesday, July 21, in Colombia there were 11,244 new cases of covid-19 in the last hours.

This, after 42,934 tests were processed (28,370 of PCR and 14,564 of antigens).

In the country, to date, 21,787,076 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 4,679,994 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report shows 351 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 117,482.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 12,684 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 4,435,550 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in the country.

Total, 113,747 cases remain active in the country.

Regarding the advance of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, July 20, the country has applied 24,000,509 doses of the covid-19 vaccine. Of that number 13,444,225 are vaccinated with the first dose; 8,654,550, second dose, and 1,901,734 with a single dose vaccine.

In the country 10,556,284 people already have the complete vaccination scheme.
