Coronavirus in Colombia: infections, deaths and recovered as of November 23, 2021 | Government | Economy

Colombia reported, this Tuesday, 50 new deaths from covid-19. Of these, 46 occurred in previous days.

The pandemic already leaves 128,188 deaths on national soil.

Health authorities also reported 2,430 new infections, after analyzing 43,410 tests (19,911 of PCR and 23,499 of antigens).

With the new positives, the country reached 5’052,733 infections in the last year and 8 months. And it has processed a total of 27,788,024 tests.

Currently, 4,893,420 have recovered from the virus and 13,673 continue to be active.

The areas of the country that concentrate the most contagions, in the historical count, are Bogotá (1’460,790), Antioquia (766,180), Valle del Cauca (415,161), Atlántico (337,462) and Cundinamarca (265,942).

As of November 21, 61,537,574 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 54,179,166 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 23,722,622.

Worldwide, 258,589,392 people have been infected with coronavirus and 5,163,587 have died.
