Adolescents over the age of 18 can now register on the city’s website
This Friday (26), the Department of Health and Welfare of Vitória de Santo Antão promotes a new age reduction for vaccination against Covid-19. With this expansion of the target audience, teenagers over the age of 18 can register on the website www.vacina.prefeituradavitoria.pe.gov.br, attaching the requested documents, such as proof of residence and official document with a photo. Wait for the analysis of documents and make an appointment to receive the immunizing agent.
The city hall maintains the registration points at Colégio 03 de Agosto and at Vitória Park Shopping, to help people who have difficulty filling out the form online. “But the demand in these places has been decreasing when we reach the age group of this generation that is digital native and uses the world wide web well”, commented the secretary of Health and Welfare, Bruna Dornelas.
The secretary also stresses the commitment of all health professionals and other areas of the city also for the vaccination logistics to work faster every day. “We are advancing more and more, and more Victorians are being immunized. We are working tirelessly so that everyone in our municipality receives the vaccine.” stressed,
Vaccination takes place from Sunday to Sunday at four centers in the city: at Samu and at the Otoni Rodrigues Pátio de Eventos, it works on the drive-thru model, for people in cars; at Colégio 03 de Agosto and at Vitória Park Shopping, people should go on foot. The first three places receive the public from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while Vitória Park Shopping follows the shopping center’s opening hours.
“It’s a huge joy. In the week that we surpassed the 100 thousand doses applied, let’s also thank God for being able to reach this audience. All adults in our city will be able to be vaccinated”, celebrated Mayor Paulo Roberto. The expectation is that with the arrival of more doses of the vaccine, the city will be able to further reduce the age range for vaccination.
