Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – An unknown person shot a kiosk employee in Offenbach when he wanted to rob the shop. The 50-year-old woman suffered a laceration on her forehead on Tuesday afternoon and was taken to a hospital, police said on Wednesday morning. However, the perpetrator did not capture anything during the robbery.
According to previous investigations, the man is said to have entered the sales room and demanded cash with the words “money, money” and a black pistol. When the cashier got up, the man suddenly shot and injured the woman. She fled into the next room. The perpetrator did not manage to open the cash register and therefore fled without taking anything. After the cashier’s injury, the weapon could be a gas pistol, according to the police. The criminal police have started the investigation and are now looking for witnesses.
