The 22nd Recital of Music and Dance of Cuyana Identity will be held this Friday, at 7:30 p.m., in the center of the city of San Luis. Admission to the event, which brings together artists from different locations in San Luis, is free and open.
The Cuyana Identity Music and Dance Festival Foundation organized a new meeting for this September 16, at 7:30 p.m. The Tula-Agüero Duo, Fernando Guzmán and the Cuyanas Guitar Septet of the ULP will perform.
On this occasion, the Day of the Folkloric Dancer will be commemorated and the artistic intervention of dances will be carried out, where dance couples will participate who will wear traditional costumes and will make two interventions. In the first, they will dance a cueca, a cat and a zamba, while in the second they will dance a bird, calandria and jota puntana.
Finally, Martín Giménez, vice president of the Cuyana Identity Music and Dance Festival Foundation and the director of the Cuyana Guitar Septet of the ULP, announced that the guitar group is made up of ‘Toto’ Molina Amen, Luján Sosa, Guillermina Siarra , Brian Gatica, Mariano Aracena, Francisco Barañano and Martín Giménez and will perform songs from the Cuyo songbook.
