Czech tennis player Barbora Strýcová ended her career at the age of 35. The reason is pregnancy, after the birth of a child it is no longer planned to return to the circuit.
The winner of doubles at the Grand Slam Wimbledon would like to say goodbye to the fans on the court: “I want to play one more game in front of the audience for myself. I’m saying goodbye to my career and I don’t expect to come back, but I’d like to say goodbye to the audience. My dream is for it to be at Wimbledon, but if it doesn’t work out, I’ll come up with something in Czech Republic,” cited Uncle’s portal sport.cz.
During her career, she won two singles titles on the WTA circuit and enjoyed doubles 31 times. She triumphed in the All England Club in 2019 and won bronze at the 2016 Olympics.
