Daddy Yankee has once again surprised his fans with the single Súbele elvolume on which he collaborates with Myke Towers and Jhay Cortez.
The song is generating quite a few “streams” on platforms such as Spotify, while the official video has already exceeded three million views and is still a trend.
According to a statement, the track, produced by Daddy Yankee, DJ Luian and Mambo King, brings energy back to nightclubs with powerful reggaeton that creates a perfect melody fusion.
The video was directed by Marlon Peña (Con Calma, Problema) and was filmed in the Santurce neighborhood located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In the audiovisual, the protagonist leaves a relationship behind and goes to party with her friends, demonstrating her power and that now she is better than ever. The video takes place with the night as a witness and is the perfect excuse to ‘turn up the volume’ and have a good time to the rhythm of this song that will surely ignite the summer.
“For a long time I wanted to create a video inspired by the Batman movie: The Dark Knight. We took over the Minillas Tunnel in Puerto Rico and the best locations in Santurce,” said the “Big Boss” in a statement.
Next Thursday, July 22, recognizing artists who use their power to drive change in the world, Univision’s Premios Juventud will honor global superstar Daddy Yankee with the prestigious “Agent of Change” award. The 18th edition of the most anticipated celebration of the summer will be broadcast this Thursday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. on Univisión.
