The head of the international urban movement, the Puerto Rican Daddy Yankee, surprised his millions of fans by closing his Instagram account, however, it all seems to be part of an unnecessary strategy to promote new record material.
This is the conclusion that several people have reached after reading his new publication on Twitter, where he says that, “the only thing that dies of reggaeton are the artists and producers, exclude me from that”. And he uses the tag “Problem”, which could give his new song a title.
If true, this strategy would join others such as those used by Ozuna, Anuel AA o Bad Bunny, who announced their retirement from music to later present new productions.
The Instagram account of the urban star, Daddy Yankee, appeared to be deactivated until tonight, Monday.
The user @daddyyankee threw an error in which he claimed that the page had been deleted.
Daddy Yankee is one of the urban artists who accumulates the most followers on Instagram with about 40 million.
