Daihatsu Indonesia Begins to Increase Production Capacity

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) since July 2020 has made preparations for 2 production shift by sticking to health protocols and preventing the spread of Covid-19. Realization of the production process 2 shift has been carried out since early August 2020 both at the Sunter and Karawang factories.

From the implementation of the implementation 2 shift production, it is expected that production output in August 2020 will increase 4 times compared to July 2020 production. Increase in production capacity to anticipate the depletion of Daihatsu car stocks at dealerships.

Marketing Director and Corporate Planning & Communication Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), Amelia Tjandra, hopes that Indonesia’s economic conditions will continue to be excited and increase people’s purchasing power so that it has a positive impact on the car market in Indonesia.

“We are grateful that the car market has begun to show an increase,” said Amelia in an official statement, Tuesday, July 4, 2020.

Amelia explained that increased production had been prepared and all supplier Daihatsu is ready to support increased ADM production. Para supplier Daihatsu is also committed to implementing the Covid-19 health protocol even though production demand has increased sharply in August 2020.
