Linz. The Eifelverein local group Linz invites you to take the Druidenwanderweg on the Sieg on Sunday, August 8th.
It is important that the corona regulations are observed during the hike. Mouth and nose protection must be carried.
The path leads around Kirchen an der Sieg on the paths of the old druids. The 19 m high Ottoturm on the Kahlberg offers a fantastic panoramic view. This panoramic circular hiking trail takes you on forest and meadow paths past the historic Freusburger mill. On the way there are many highlights on just one hike with wonderful views of the Siegtal.
The meeting point is at 8:30 a.m. on Martinusstraße (parking lot at the corner of the Gymnasium) in Linz or at 9 a.m. at the primary school in Buchholz. The starting point of the hike is reached in a car pool.
The moderately difficult hiking route is approx. 16 km long. Backpack food and enough drinks should be included. Sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather are requested. A final rest is planned at the end of the hike.
Guests are always welcome to join the hikes. A donation of 2 euros will be charged for the guest hike.
