He is clothed with the so-called Pontifikalien: purple chasuble, miter, crosier, bishop’s cross and bishop’s ring. The church will be closed to the public until 4.30 pm on this day. The church is open until 7pm this Tuesday.

The funeral of Cardinal Karl Lehmann will take place on Wednesday, March 21st. From 14 clock the deceased in the Augustinian Church, where he is laid out until then, adopted and transferred in a funeral procession through Augustinerstraße, Leichhof, Schöfferstraße, Höfchen and cathedral places on the bishop portal of the cathedral on Liebfrauenplatz in the cathedral. The requiem for the funeral will take place at 3 pm in the cathedral, the main celebrant will be Bishop Peter Kohlgraf.
