The police received information about the abduction from the maternity ward at Slagelse Hospital at 6.10pm on Saturday evening. The baby must have been only a few hours old then.
The suspect’s grandfather’s vehicle was searched, and just before 10 p.m. the police announced that the car had been stopped and the wanted man had been arrested.
