Depp vs. Heard – no matter what the verdict will be, it will have a “deterrent effect” on victims

It’s already the sixth week in a row that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s trial is coming to an end, it’s time to summarize this hell that has taken place in public, is taking place and is expected to take place for some time to come.

When will it end?

The trial began on April 11 and was originally scheduled to last five weeks, but now it looks like it is expected to end by May 27th. The proceedings were also suspended last week after a judge working on the case had to go to a conference.

What has happened so far?

From verbal and physical violence to buttocks pressed in the face from revenge to shit to bed, quite a variety of accusations have been made in recent years and in the current trial, which started because Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation.

Depp is suing his wife for $ 50 million over a commentary he wrote in 2018 in which Heard wrote about domestic violence against him. Although Heard did not name Deppet in it, the actor claims he lost several roles due to writing in the Washington Post. Depp had once lost a lawsuit, then sued the British Sun for calling him a wife.
