Due to the health crisis, amateur clubs have been unable to indulge their passion for football for many months and may be faced with financial and organizational difficulties, going so far as to jeopardize their existence. Aware of this delicate situation, the DFCO, in collaboration with the Côte-d’Or Football District, has decided to support the amateur world. The DFCO approached each Ligue 1 club Uber Eats to obtain the donation of two jerseys worn in matches and also contacted former club players, still active, to obtain their current jerseys.
Among the jerseys collected, that of Benin by Saturnin Allagbé, those of Nayef Aguerd, Alfred Gomis, Baptiste Reynet, Pierre Lees-Melou, Benjamin Lecomte, Loïs Diony, Romain Philippoteaux, Florent Mollet, among others.
The auction will take place online and all of the proceeds will be used to finance training equipment for each amateur club in the department.
The DFCO would like to thank the Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs who played the game: Angers SCO, AS Monaco, AS Saint-Etienne, Girondins de Bordeaux, FC Lorient, FC Metz, FC Nantes, LOSC, Montpellier Hérault SC, Nîmes Olympique , OGC Nice, Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique de Marseille, Stade Brestois 29, Stade de Reims and Stade Rennais FC.
A big thank you also to our former inhabitants of Dijon who responded favorably to our request: Julio Tavares, Romain Amalfitano, Bobby Allain, Alex Runarsson, Johan Gastien and Chang-Hoon Kwon.
