Bad Kötzting, July 19, 2021 – At today’s general meeting in Bad Kötzting, the management board and supervisory board of the Erlebnis Akademie AG again received great approval from the shareholders for the long-term corporate strategy. All agenda items to be resolved were adopted with a large majority.

The shareholders agreed to the joint proposal for the appropriation of profits by the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board to carry forward the 2020 net profit of 4,492,017.56 euros to new account and to leave it in the company to further secure liquidity and for future investments in new projects. The Annual General Meeting also voted for the cancellation of the existing Authorized Capital 2017 / I and the simultaneous revision of the Authorized Capital 2021 / I. The Management Board is hereby authorized to increase the company’s share capital by a total of up to EUR 1,212,428.00 by issuing new shares in the period up to 2026.

With eleven treetop paths across Europe, five of them in Germany, Erlebnis Akademie AG is the market leader in this area. With the large number of visitors to nature-oriented leisure activities expected this summer, the company expects the year 2021 to be good until June, despite the pandemic-related closings. Work on the current new projects in Canada and Ireland is proceeding according to plan. Both treetop paths are to be opened in the coming year. In the long term, locations will also be expanded through expansion offers such as adventure playgrounds and restaurants. An adventure playground was opened at the joint venture location in Bachledka last week.

The Erlebnis Akademie AG was founded in 2001 in Bad Kötzting, Upper Palatinate, and is now one of the leading providers in the natural leisure and adventure sector in Germany. So far, the company has built eleven treetop paths including additional facilities with a total investment of over 60 million euros. The German locations are in the Black Forest, in the Bavarian Forest National Park, on the islands of Rügen and Usedom and on the Saar loop.
