Did Prince William betray the sex of the royal baby?

The parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, proudly carry their first-born, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, out of the hospital. The British prince was born on 21 June 1982 in London, the light of day.

In January 2006, officer-in-command Sandhurst, Major General Andrew Ritchie, welcomed his new recruit William, who was accompanied by his father. This is followed by an eleven-month military training, in the royal tradition.


In December 2006, the final parade takes place in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II at the end of the successful training; William smiles proudly at his grandmother. In this parade, he was appointed Lieutenant (Second Lieutenant).

The basic training is followed by a pilot training at the Royal Air Force with helicopter training, search and rescue squadron.

Is the secret to the sex of the third child of William and Kate aired a short time before her birth? The British “Mirror” means ‘The prince had pretty much blabbed himself. Thus, the royal couple would again expect a boy – and he would be named after a football player.
In the net is now hot over the comment of Prince William on the sidelines of a football game discussed. Some consider the debate sexist.

Jack or Jackie?

However, this incident does not only arouse curious fans of the Royals, but also feminists, as the portal “indy100” reports. “It’s really sexist to assume that all football players are men,” a user writes on Twitter. User l_alexander99 says ironically: “Sure, women do not play football.”
Be it a boy or a girl, an accidental slip of the tongue or just a joke – you’ll have to be patient after Prince William’s comment until the baby’s birth to be sure. (Alka)
