Dimitri Droisneau elected chef of the year by his peers

This Monday, September 19, the magazine Leader organized his Trophies at the Pavillon Gabriel in Paris. The evening, hosted by Anne Luzin, celebrated the profession as every year and highlighted the various professions of French catering. After Christophe Bacquié, Glenn Viel or even Mauro Colagreco, it’s the turn of Dimitri Droisneauchef of the three-starred restaurant The Villa Madie in Cassis, to be voted chef of the year by his peers. The Tremplins, which reward chief entrepreneurs, were awarded to:

  • Camille Lacome – Avel Vor, Port-Louis
  • Camille Delcroix – Bacove, Saint-Omer
  • Mallory Gabsi – Mallory Gabsi, Paris
  • Jason Le Glatin – Nipa House, Fillé-sur-Sarthe
  • Fabien Raux – Restaurant of the Loire, Pouilly-sous-Charlieu

L’Espoir 2022, which rewards a promising young chef, was awarded to:

  • Wouter Tits from chef Tom Meyer’s restaurant Granite in Paris

The Service Award was given to:

  • Alicia Poupeney from the restaurant L’Auberge du Père Bise in Talloires

The Sommelier of the Year award went to:

  • Manon Bras from the Christopher Coutanceau restaurant in La Rochelle

The Pastry Chef of the Year award was given to:

  • Jordan Gasco from Relais & Châteaux Le Chambard by chef Olivier Nasti in Kaysersberg

During the evening, chef Michel Nave, who has spent his entire career with chef Pierre Gagnaire, was honored for his career and received the 2022 Transmission Prize.
