The fruit, quite popular in Brazil and in tropical countries, is refreshing, juicy, ensures satiety and even has an anti-inflammatory function.

Who says it is the Spanish nutritionist Leyre López-Iranzu. In interview with magazine Hola!he pointed out that this ingredient is perfect for fighting inflammation and a “de-inflamed” body also tends to be a healthier body and conducive to weight loss.
“Inflammation is not always harmful, it acts as a defense mechanism against infection or trauma. When it is maintained for a prolonged period of time, it is dangerous and gives rise to very harmful chronic pathologies,” he said.
The pineapple is still rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that fights free radicals naturally; and contains bromelain, an enzyme used in protein digestion.
