The planet discovered by the Tess, known as HD21749c, orbits a star 53 light-years from Earth, according to the Engadget site.

Scientists at NASA suggest the possibility of being rocky, but they have pointed out that it is unfit for living and living.

The results indicate that Tess is able to accomplish its task of classifying thousands of planets as a replacement for the planet, including more than 300 planets that are expected to be Earth-sized or larger Earth-sized planets.

The newly identified planet is the smallest planet outside our solar system to be detected by the spacecraft to explore outer planets.

The spacecraft data show that the planet "HD" revolves around the star once every eight days, which means that it has a narrow orbit that would lead to a temperature of a surface up to 426 degrees Celsius.

To date, the Tess spacecraft has detected 10 smaller planets than Neptune.

Its ability to detect the planet appears to be an indicator of its ability to find smaller planets, small enough for its stars that contain liquid water, but far enough not to burn.
