Disney Cruise Line Denounced for Alleged Sexual Assault of 3-Year-Old Girl | World

Disney has been involved in a new controversy over a complaint, specifically against Disney Cruise Line. The parents of a 3-year-old girl say that the minor was a victim of sexual assault on board one of their cruise ships.

The lawsuit filed by a family residing in the state of Vermont, United States, it’s for 20 million dollars and the events in question would have happened while they were on vacation in January 2020.

According to the complaint, The 3-year-old was sexually abused by another passenger while at a club the cruise ship offered to children between the ages of 3 and 12, and the staff apparently did not intervene to prevent it.

The girl “was excessively groped and sexually touched in her private parts by an older boy,” they said in court, adding that Disney cruise staff “did not acknowledge the sexual assault and therefore allowed the abuse to continue.”

In addition, the parents say, they were never notified of what happened, despite her daughter’s “emotional and physical distress during and immediately after the incident.”

A Disney spokesperson told the outlet 8 On Your Side that “this claim is totally unfounded. The plaintiffs’ first accusations were reported to the FBI, and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office investigated them and determined they were unfounded“.

And I add: “The plaintiffs have now come back with a different story, which is equally unfounded, that another boy acted inappropriately with their daughter. We will vigorously defend this case in court. “
