Regarding the compulsory health pass in shopping centers, does this apply to all stores in the gallery?
Following the government’s request, the prefects made the health pass compulsory in shopping centers of more than 20,000m² in the departments where the incidence rate exceeds 200, which is the case for the departments of Alpes-Maritimes and Var.
On the side of the Var prefecture, the representative of the State communicated, this Thursday, August 12, the list of establishments concerned from Monday, August 16. Six sites are mentioned:
– Auchan- La Seyne-sur-Mer;
– Carrefour – Ollioules;
– Carrefour Mayol – Toulon;
– Carrefour Grand Var Ouest – La Valette du Var;
– Casino Center Azur – Hyères;
– Ikea – Toulon.
In practice, it is not only the stores mentioned that are concerned but indeed the entire structure. As the prefecture of Var specifies, stores and adjacent shopping malls are concerned.
If you go for example to Carrefour Mayol, in Toulon, the control of your health pass will be requested as soon as you enter the shopping center.
Vaccinated or with a negative test
Obtaining the health pass necessarily involves vaccination or the presentation of a negative test carried out within 72 hours (RT-PCR test, antigen or self-test carried out under the control of a health professional).
For people who have already contracted the virus, it is necessary to present the result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to the recovery from Covid-19, dating at least 11 days and less than 6 months.
Wearing a mask too
In addition, and in the same concern to limit the progression of the virus, wearing a mask is mandatory indoors in all establishments receiving the public subject to the health pass.
