VIVA Automotive – Not long ago, the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ordered his staff to no longer take action against traffic rules violators, using a manual system.

The National Police Chief issued a new regulation, which instructs traffic police to apply Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE).

The National Police has provided many static ETLE cameras, which have been installed on several roads. This tool is equipped with artificial intelligence technology, so it can detect various types of violations ranging from not wearing a seat belt, going against the road to exceeding the speed limit.

The electronic system on the camera can record the vehicle’s license plate, and later violators will be subject to sanctions whose information is sent directly to the address according to the data of the Ranmor.

To deal with points that are not monitored by a static ETLE camera, traffic police are then equipped with an ETLE Mobile system in the form of a portable camera in a vehicle. They then also take advantage of the camera smartphonewhich is used by officers riding motorbikes.

The officers’ actions were caught on video cameras, which were then uploaded to social media and immediately went viral. Quoted from the Instagram page @fact.indoOn Saturday, November 5, 2022, an officer casually stopped in front of a traffic rule violator who was not wearing a helmet.
