Drogba announces his retirement from football

SNG – The Phoenix star of the United States, Ivorian Didier Drogba, retired from football, ended his career with Lewisville at the USL Cup final.

The 40-year-old Drogba decided in March to retire at the end of the season after a distinguished career with his country, Chelsea and several other clubs.

Drogba has already announced that he will retire at the end of the season, at the age of forty.

Phoenix lost to Lewisville with a free-kick by Luke Spencer on the grounds of the Lane Stadium, which was full to watch Drogba's last game.

His scoring abilities helped him move to Chelsea, whom he played for a long time between 2004 and 2012.
