A heavily intoxicated e-bike rider was injured in a fall in Gelterkinden BL on Monday evening and had to be flown to the hospital by Rega. The 55-year-old man had around 2 per thousand alcohol in his blood.
The accident victim is referred to the public prosecutor’s office, as the Baselbieter police announced on Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Rickenbacherstrasse. The 55-year-old e-bike rider fell to the ground without external influence and suffered various injuries. After the first aid by the paramedics, Rega had to be called out. (SDA)
