The summit of the G20, on November 30, brings together two arch-enemies: the president of the United States, Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, president of China; and Buenos Aires is not any scenario.
In the last ten years, China has embarked on the conquest of Latin America. Trump tries to stop that advance. And Argentina is one of the territories where the fight takes place.
For the government of Mauricio Macri this poses a dilemma, because it needs financing and investments from China and the United States. It implies balancing and seducing, at the same time, the two countries with the greatest tension among themselves in the global scenario.
"An example: Macri now has to sign an agreement with China for the construction of a nuclear power plant. That makes Trump's hair stand on end", Remarked Jorge Lanata.
