Düsseldorf: 187 new corona cases, incidence 239.3 – Ddorf-Aktuell

The number of Düsseldorf residents who currently tested positive for the corona virus was 187,236 on Monday (May 30), 187 more than the day before. The so-called 7-day incidence (number of new cases in the past 7 days per 100,000 inhabitants) for Düsseldorf is given as 239.3 (225.5 on the previous day). The NRW Ministry of Health gives 8,200 as the number of infected people in Düsseldorf. 72 people are currently being treated in hospitals, 8 of them in intensive care units. vaccinations

For anyone over the age of 16 who is interested, the city of Düsseldorf offers corona vaccinations without prior appointment booking. These vaccinations are only possible in the “vaccination center 2.0” on Bertha-von-Suttner Platz behind the main train station, which has only been open on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. since Monday (9 May). The offer of the vaccination mobile and the vaccination center at the Heinrich-Heine-Allee underground station is currently no longer available.

The vaccination can also be given to children/adolescents between the ages of 12 and 16 accompanied by their parents without an appointment. Before all vaccinations, there is a detailed consultation, during which the vaccine used is also determined. Various vaccines are available. The recently approved Nuvaxovid vaccine is also vaccinated in the “vaccination center 2.0” at the main train station. In addition, general practitioners, paediatricians and company doctors as well as pharmacies vaccinate.
The booster vaccinations are recommended for everyone whose second vaccination was more than three months ago and are also administered at the two stationary and mobile stations.

Vaccination appointments for children between the ages of 5 and 11 can be booked via the city’s telephone hotline (0211-8996090), which will be carried out in the vaccination center.

The city of Düsseldorf started the first vaccinations on December 27, 2020. According to the municipal vaccination center, which determines the values ​​from medical practices, vaccination centers, decentralized vaccination centers and mobile teams, 1,537,520 vaccinations have already been administered in Düsseldorf, of which 976,810 were second or booster vaccinations (as of May 27th).

PCR-Tests

The municipal test site at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle is moving. From Friday (May 27th) the tests will be offered in the vaccination center at Bertha-von-Suttner Platz 1. The tests are still possible from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mobile tests for people who cannot leave their home environment due to illness or mobility will continue to be offered from Monday to Saturday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). For PCR tests, it is necessary to make an appointment in advance with the Corona information phone on 0211-8996090.

Since March 4, 2020, 264,595 swabs for PCR tests have been taken by the mobile teams and in the diagnostic centers at the Mitsubishi Electric Hall via the municipal diagnostic centers. This number also includes the swabs carried out in old people’s and nursing homes, refugee and homeless shelters.

The Corona hotline, the PCR test at Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz and the mobile service will remain closed on the Corpus Christi holiday, June 16th. On Whit Monday, June 6th, the Corona hotline can be reached from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tests are only possible on this day via the mobile service.
