With confinement, TV masses have an audience record. And on the web, parishes, religious communities, groups of young people have multiplied initiatives and shown great creativity to live connected this Lent 2020, Lent 2.0.
Lent also solidarity with people on the street. In an operation linked to the Paris City Hall, 1,500 volunteers from twenty-four dioceses in the capital distributed lunch baskets every day.
This unexpected health crisis also raises spiritual, ethical, existential questions to which our guests answer:
Pastors Espoir Majagira Bulangalire and Philippe Kabongo M’Baya ; Mgr Pascal Gollnisch, Director General of L’Oeuvre d’Orient ; Marie-Jo Thiel, doctor specializing in ethical issues ; Bertrand Vergely, philosopher and essayist of the Orthodox faith.
With the participation of Sinatou Saka, journalist specializing in social networks at RFI; Thierry Hubert, volunteer internet user of the parish of St Denys du St Sacrement (Paris 3ème)and president ofassociation “Esperanza Joy of children” who launches with its partners Alliance, Medical missions and Le Relais the operation “100,000 masks for Madagascar”; Corinne Denis, coordinator of the volunteer team of the parish of St Vincent de Paul (Paris 10th) for the distribution of meals.
