Edge gets vertical tabs feature and alerts you when passwords leak – Computer – News

Microsoft has announced some new features for its Chromium-based Edge browser. For example, there will be a feature that allows users to orient their tabs vertically. There will also be a function to check whether login details are part of a data breach.

The addition of vertical tabs is, according to Microsoft, a feature that can help users easily manage and find any many open tabs. According to the company, Edge is the only browser where tabs on the side of the screen can be placed vertically.

In addition, an Edge function will become available that will notify users if their entered passwords are part of a data breach. This Password Monitor notifies you when the entered login data has been detected on the dark web. There will also be a Smart Copy function, in which the rich web format will be maintained if the copied content is pasted somewhere.

The Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser has been out since January 15, but the new features mentioned above aren’t immediately available. They are expected to become available in the Insider channels sometime in the coming months, although the Smart Copy feature should be released in those channels by next month.
