Education works on a new computer connectivity and distribution plan

The Minister of Education of the Nation Nicolás Trotta held a meeting this Saturday with the Secretary of Industry, Ariel bowl; the president of Banco Nación, Eduardo Hecker; the Secretary General of the Metallurgical Workers Union (UOM), Antonio Caló; and the chambers and businessmen of the computer industry to advance the connectivity plan designed by the educational portfolio and the distribution of computers that the national government is carrying out.

“We formed a work team between the Government and the national computer manufacturing companies to advance the new Juana Manso connectivity plan. We believe that it is essential not only to reactivate the industry to guarantee jobs, but to put it at the service of education Argentina, which is going through a very particular moment in this context, ”said the head of the educational portfolio.

Delivery of netbooks and tablets to high school students continues

In this sense, Shale assured: “It is very necessary to be able to integrate all our boys and girls and thus reduce the gap and be able to provide, from the national industry, connectivity solutions and access to better technology in each of our homes. Today the pandemic presents us with the enormous challenge of bringing technology to every home and for this we are going to deploy the best of our productive and creative capacities in Argentine industry ”.

For his part, Hecker referred to the importance ofo the continuity of the Connect Equality plan in this exceptional context and to have strengthened the industry: “If the educational and industrial policy had not been discontinued, as was done in previous years, children in public schools would be in a position to receive digital content even in the pandemic. Banco Nación provides and will provide financing for national companies that require it”, He specified.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss the design and implementation of the Juana Manso connectivity plan. It seeks to integrate and provide access to technology to all girls, boys and adolescents in Argentina.

The General Manager of EDUCAR SE also participated in the meeting, Laura Mares, the Chief of Cabinet of the Ministry of Education, Matías Novoa and entrepreneurs from the computer industry sector in our country.
