El Económico – Barcelona Gospel Messengers opens the program of Sagunt in Excelsis at the Teatro de Begoña

With the work Classical and Modern Gospel, the Barcelona Gospel Messengers choir will kick off the 2023 program of the Sagunt in Excelsis sacred music cycle. The Begoña Theater in Puerto de Sagunto will be the scene of the performance, on Saturday, March 25 at 8:00 p.m. The performance will be directed by Ramón Escalé, pianist and composer, and one of the pioneers in the proliferation of gospel music since its beginnings in Catalonia at the beginning of the century.


Those who attend the Begoña Theater next Saturday will enjoy a very expressive show. Barcelona Gospel Messengers stands out for its youth and for the intense musical training of all its members. In total, they make up a choir of around twenty soloists who have performed throughout Catalonia since it was founded in 2008. Some of the most illustrious venues where they have performed are the Oval Hall of the MNAC, the Barcelona Auditorium, the Palau de la Música Catalana or the Greek Theater of Montjuic.
