Novorossiysk, on March 14. The crews of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia took part in the early voting in the presidential elections. This was announced by the head of the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain I rank Vyacheslav Truhachev.
As Trukhachev said, one of the first crews voted a large amphibious assault ship “Azov” at one of the polling stations of Novorossiysk.
“More than 100 sailors gave their votes in advance, as the crew will be on a long campaign on the day of elections,” Trukhachev explained.
Also in the early voting took part crews of the frigate “Admiral Essen” and a number of other ships of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia, which directly on March 18 will be at sea, performing various tasks.
Recall, the election of the President of the Russian Federation will be held on March 18 this year. The current head of state, Vladimir Putin, is going to them as a self-nominated person.
