Emergency Don’t Let It Happen in Indonesia, Slovakia Reports Dangerous Outbreak

Slovakia has reported an outbreak of the highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza virus in domesticated poultry, the Paris-based World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) said Tuesday (23/11).

The reported case follows several outbreaks of dangerous poultry farming areas in Europe and Asia in recent weeks, a sign that the virus is spreading again rapidly.
