This tree had been under surveillance for several weeks due to poor sanitary condition (corroded from the inside by a fungus).
This Friday, May 13 in the morning, one of the branches of the tree broke and then fell on the public space in an area particularly frequented by pedestrians.
To avoid the risk of an accident and to ensure everyone’s safety, it was decided to cut down this poplar as a matter of urgency.
The work currently in progress will be completed this evening.
