Amphibious vehicle sinks in the Ems: On Sunday (March 11, 2018) it came at Emsbüren (Lower Saxony) to a disaster in which an amphibious vehicle was involved. According to local police drove the 31-year-old driver of the cars with another adult and two four-year-old boys at a ford at the height of the road “Zum Bökenboom” in the Ems. The attempt to land again failed, as the embankment at the site was so steep. The vehicle was full of water. The fire brigade from Emsbüren, as well as divers of the DLRG were on hand to recover the amphibious vehicle.
