Eric Christian Olsen broke his silence after CBS canceled NCIS:LA and left a heartbreaking message for fans. With the show ending after 14 seasons, the actor wanted fans to know how much the series meant to him.

Eric Christian Olsen answers NCIS:LA cancellation
CBS canceled after 14 seasons NCIS:LA and this will be his final season on the air. The news hit fans hard and the good news is that the cast is right there and understands the importance the show has had to fandom.
This included Eric Christian Olsen. in a (n Instagram Post, Eric shared, “what a spectacular journey everyone shared.” Also in the picture, Deeks walked through a tunnel into the bright lights of the sun.
Olsen has played Marty Deeks since the first season of the series and became a lead in the first episode of season 2. He was the LAPD-NCIS liaison officer &ceded to the Office of Special Projects (OSP) in Los Angeles. Deeks became the partner of NCIS Junior Special Agent Kensi Blye. He and Kensi then married in season 11. His position was terminated in season 12, but after that he became a full NCIS member. It really was a great ride for Olsen’s character.
The post has over 29,000 likes and countless fans and contemporaries from the NCIS Universum responded with their love for him and the show itself.
Others NCIS:LA Actors react to cancellation
Olsen wasn’t alone in showing his love for the popular series. LL Cool J, who has been one of the two main cast members since the show began, also posted on Instagram. The actor thanked all of the show’s fans from around the world, noting that they’ve received some of their best reviews lately.
“This is the perfect time to end @ncisla on top of our game!!!” he wrote. He also said he will continue his relationship with CBS TV and there will be more exciting news and announcements about his future in television.
Daniela Ruah, who played Kinsey from the start, also posted her thoughts on the termination on Instagram. She mentioned that she was 24 when the show started and is now 39. “I am so grateful to have been a part of this NCISLA family,” she wrote. “The show took so long because of all of you.”
Caleb Castille, who joined in NCIS:LA Cast in 2020 as Devin Roundtree, posted his thoughts on Twitter. “To the best fans & crew in the world! I am infinitely grateful for this opportunity.”
