Escuelas Católicas CLM encourages the population to donate blood through an initiative that has the collaboration of 28 schools in Albacete and Toledo – News from Albacete

In Albacete, the donation day will take place on February 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Albacete College of Physicians Headquarters located in Plaza del Altozano.

Escuelas Católicas Castilla La-Mancha has promoted a Learning and Service Project in collaboration with 18 schools in Albacete and Toledo to encourage blood donation in their educational communities.

As reported through a press release, in Albacete the Diocesan School, Nuestra Sra. del Rosario School, Escuelas Pías School, María Inmaculada School (Daughters of Charity), La Enseñanza School, Hellín, San Francisco Coll School, will participate in Albacete. Ángel de la Guarda School FEyE and Ave María School.

All of them have come together to promote blood donation under the slogan “Donate is Love”. They have the support of the College of Physicians (which will give up its headquarters) and the Brotherhood of Blood Donors, which appreciates the gesture and will mobilize its resources to care for those who want to donate or be part of the organization that keeps hospitals in the province.

Ten schools from the province of Toledo participate

On the other hand, in the province of Toledo, the Virgen del Carmen School, San Juan Bautista School, Divina Pastora School, Karol Wojtyla School, Seseña, Stmo School, Cristo de la Sangre, Torrijos, Nuestra Señora de la Consolación School, Quintanar de the Order, San José School, Fuensalida, María Inmaculada School, Mora, Nuestra Señora de los Infantes School and Santiago el Mayor School.

In these spaces, in addition to donating blood, awareness-raising activities will be carried out in the classroom and they will receive a visit from the Brotherhood of Blood of Toledo, which trains and motivates students as information transmission agents with the aim of Motivate their family, friends and neighbors of legal age to come to their school to donate blood.

Each school has chosen specific dates for the donation. In this way, the blood donation at the Cristo de la Sangre School in Torrijos will be on February 14 from 5-8:30 p.m. At the San Juan Bautista de Toledo School, February 16 from 5-8:30 p.m.; at the Colegio San José de Fuensalida, on March 13-17; and at the Nuestra Señora de la Consolación School, Quintanar de la Orden, from April 17 to 20.

From Castilla-La Mancha Catholic Schools they encourage Albacete and Toledo to participate in these donation days because “donating is loving”. The collaborators will deliver gifts to everyone who goes to the collections to donate blood.
