Estrada homer in 10th drives Giants past Rockies

Thairo Estrada put his team up with a three-run homer in the 10th inning after starting the tying play in the ninth, and the San Francisco Giants rallied from behind to beat the Colorado Rockies 10-7 on Monday.

Mike Yastrzemski hit it out of the park and Wilmer Flores had three hits and drove in two for the Giants, who snapped a three-game losing streak and overcame four errors that produced two unearned runs.

Michael Toglia had three hits for the Rockies, including a pair of RBI triples.

In his major league debut, Gavin Hollowell (0-1) struck out the first two batters he faced in the final inning, but took the loss after giving up Estrada’s game-winning homer.

Camilo Doval (6-6) pitched a perfect ninth to claim the win and Scott Alexander got the final three outs for his second save.

For the Giants, Venezuelans Thairo Estrada 6-3, with three runs scored and three produced; Wilmer Flores 5-3, with two RBIs. The Mexican Luis González 4-1.

For the Rockies, Venezuelans Yonathan Daza 6-1, with three runs scored and one RBI; Elijah Diaz 1-0. The Dominican Elehuris Montero 3-0, with a run scored.
