Even vaccinated people can only be tested in the swimming pool or cinema in Bavaria

In Bavaria, as of Wednesday, access to a large number of leisure events, including those who have recovered and who have been vaccinated, will only be possible with a negative corona test. According to the new corona rules decided on Tuesday by the Bavarian cabinet in Munich, the 2G-Plus rule will apply in future to all cultural and sporting events, trade fairs, conferences and congresses. It also applies to leisure facilities such as swimming pools, saunas, zoos, botanical gardens, cable cars, excursion boats, guided tours or amusement parks.

According to the new regulation that will apply from Wednesday, a maximum of 25 percent of the places may be allocated both inside and outside. A maximum of 12,500 people per day may be admitted to trade fairs. In addition, a minimum distance must be maintained from all people who do not belong to their own household.

In all of Bavaria there is also a curfew between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for restaurants from Wednesday. Discos, clubs, brothels, bars and similar establishments will be closed. In wholesale and retail there is a customer limit of a maximum of one customer per ten square meters of retail space.

The cabinet decided on regional lockdowns for the Bavarian corona hotspots with an incidence of more than 1,000 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants per week. There leisure facilities, restaurants and hotels have to close.

With the exception of hairdressers, services that are close to the body must also cease operations and universities and other educational institutions are no longer allowed to teach face-to-face outside of school operations.
