In 2014, two engineers from General Electric Medical, Romain Moulin and Renaud Heitz, wondered how they could compete with the robots used by Amazon in its warehouses. Are those of the American e-commerce giant grounded? Never mind: theirs will climb to the ceiling!
The two thirty-somethings launched a start-up in Paris during the summer of 2015. The first buyer, Cdiscount, signed a year later. The order picking system was delivered in 2017 and immediately put to use. The same year, the very young company of 15 employees – which, in the meantime, settled in the North, in Croix – achieved a turnover (CA) of 700,000 euros. Four years later, in 2021, it has 360 employees…
