Most of the overdue loans in Russia at the beginning of 2020 were recorded in the republics of the North Caucasus. This is evidenced by the results of the study. “RIA News”.
The agency conducted an analysis of Russian regions and compiled their rating for the share of loans with debt. In the study, experts relied on data from the Central Bank and Rosstat.
The worst payment discipline is observed in Ingushetia – there the share of delinquencies is 13.11% of the total number of loans to the population. Karachayev-Cherkessia is in the penultimate place (9.11%), and North Ossetia (6.79%) is the third from the end.
They pay best on loans in Sevastopol – where the share of overdue debt is only 1.35%. In second place is the Nenets Autonomous Okrug with an indicator of 1.66%. The Republic of Crimea closes the top three most disciplined payers (2.09%).
Moscow is in the middle of the ranking – in 49th place. Over the year, the share of overdue loans in the capital decreased by 1% and amounted to 4.16%. St. Petersburg is on the eighth line – here, 2.84% of the total number of borrowers are debtors.
