JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Kombes Pol. Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, revealed the actual facts regarding a viral video on social media showing police officers ticketing a new motorbike which was said to have just come out of a dealership.
Arsyad confirmed that his members carried out a ticket for the motorbike. However, the information circulating that the motorcycle is new and has not been out of the dealership for a long time is not true.

“Yes, the video circulating is true that there is a ticketing process. But it is not true that our members in the field ticketed a motorbike which according to the video is a new motorbike, which just came out of the dealership,” said Arsyad in Bandarlampung, Lampung, Friday (24/6). /2022).
He explained that the traffic light incident began when a member of the Bandarlampung Polantas Police named Aiptu Toni Orlando was carrying out a patrol.
At that time, said Arsyad, Aiptu Toni was on patrol from the Tugu Adipura Post to the traffic order area on Jalan Ahmad Yani.
While crossing Jalan Ahmad Yani, Aiptu Toni saw one of the two-wheeled vehicles committing a violation.

The violation in question is that the motorcyclist did not use a vehicle number plate, did not use a mirror, and used a loud or noisy exhaust.
“Seeing the violation, our members overtook the vehicle, and immediately stopped it, in the yard of a motorcycle dealer on Jalan Ahmad Yani,” said Arsyad.
