Fans laugh at DC after yet another Comic Con fiasco

DC is back on track… Fans suffered two huge setbacks yesterday with the sudden cancellation of Batgirl and the now uncertain future of The Flash. And it went wrong earlier at the San Diego Comic Con.

They were convinced that the studio would finally announce the definitive return of Henry Cavill as Superman. But none of that. Instead, “just” new trailers for Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

However, the most exciting revelation for enthusiasts came not at the event last month, but on social media thanks to Jason Momoa’s Instagram.

The Justice League star shared a photo of herself with Justice League colleague Ben Affleck on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, confirming that Batfleck will be back in the underwater sequel.

The reactions are wildly enthusiastic and online there is a lot of mockery that Momoa’s snapshot generates by far the most attention.

Fortunately, there is also room for humor
A funny meme, posted on Reddit, used a disgruntled Homelander from The Boys as a stand-in for a studio buff: “Warner Bros. seeing this one photo of Ben get more attention than all of their SDCC presentation put together”reads the mocking caption.
