The new M&M storm is about to have some fun!
Thomas Müller (32) returned to team training on Monday morning after four weeks of vacation. The original Bavarian (in the club since 2000) came onto the pitch at 10 a.m. in a good mood.
Fun with coach Julian Nagelsmann (34). Then a wave to the BILD photographer and the 25 or so fans at the fence.
In the unit, Müller then joked with star newcomer Sadio Mané (30). As a joke partner and French translator, Kingsley Coman (26) laughed with Bayern’s new M&M storm!
As always after the holiday, Müller seemed in top form and was immediately the pacesetter and loudspeaker in training. “Radio Müller” broadcast in high frequency…
Müller and Mané are on the same wavelength – both are jokers!
On the lawn, there wasn’t that much going on in a playful way. Because mostly the two stars were in separate training groups. Müller (already in the weight room on Säbener Straße on Saturday) was allowed to skip the sprints at the end of the intensive two-hour session. Mané pulled through.
While Müller started on Monday, the last national players should return to training on Tuesday: Manuel Neuer (36), Robert Lewandowski (33), Leroy Sané (26), Benjamin Pavard (26) and Lucas Hernández (26).
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (32), Sven Ulreich (33), Bouna Sarr (30) and newcomer Noussair Mazraoui (24/free transfer from Amsterdam) took a break from training on Monday.
Serge Gnabry (26) caused the laughter of the training day!
The wing star grabbed the red Bayern cap from team psychologist Dr. Maximilian Pelka (34). Great fun for the teammates when Gnabry wanted to put on the hat afterwards. No chance with his big curly mane! The red cap sat on the national player’s head like a little cap…
Gnabry in the best joking mood!
There was also a lot to laugh about in the sprints at the end of the session with superstar Mané. Although Nagelsmann and fitness boss Prof. Dr. Holger Broich (47) shooed the players properly.
The DFB star has so far shown no signs of contract frustration in training. He had not yet accepted the offer from the club bosses with an annual salary of up to 19 million euros. His contract expires at the end of the season.
In order to avoid a change without transfer in 2023, those responsible want a decision from their star this summer: extend or be sold. Manchester City already has Gnabry on the list!
